Roar the Anthem

Roar the Anthem

A Poem by Marshal Gebbie

Roar the Anthem

   Roar the anthem All Blacks

Let them taste your Kiwi fire,
   Tandem it with Moari haka

Make them feel New Zealand's ire.

Hear the passion of our nation
See the hunger in the eyes,
Sense the roaring crowd behind you
Know we back you to the skies.

We depend upon you All Blacks,
In the toughness of your hide,

In the sense of being Kiwi

You personify the pride.

   Make the opposition tremble
Let them know right from the start,
That Kiwi blokes mean bloody business
…Roar that anthem from your heart !!!
