Blown Reeds

Blown Reeds

A Poem by Marshal Gebbie

Blown Reeds

Winds blow,
      Reeds bend,
      Coriolis force
       Will lend
       Momentum
       To dispersed
       White seed
       Which, caste aloft,
       Doth spread
       And breed
       Young reeds anew
       On distant lake
       For wind
       To whip
       And bend
       And break.

I like this for 2 reasons. 1--you can read it and take it at face value and just enjoy a nice little nature poem. and 2---you can read it and take it philosophically and pause in your busy day for a bit of reflection. Oh and nice picture too! :-)
