Supping with Angels

Supping with Angels

A Poem by Marshal Gebbie

Take a sip of something sweet

Something soothing, something neat,

Roll the tongue around the taste

Take some time, there’s little haste,

Quaffle at the upper throat

And roll the eyes to quench the gloat…

For you are of the chosen few

Who’ve supped forbidden Angel’s dew

To touch the best a life entails

In tasting Heaven’s holy grail.

Ambrosia Mellow....the nectar of the Gods...legend has it that the ancient Greeks who stole this fobidden delight..on tasting it, had their very blood turned to "Ichor".

We taste it in our wildest, most erotic dreams Marie...Ambrosia the ancient forbidden dew of the Gods and Angels.

Interesting poem Marshal. I really like the flow and descriptiveness of it, and I love the line "forbidden Angel's dew". Thanks.
