I turn to you 

When I need you most

Ground crumbling beneath 

You let me fall

I open myself to you

Show you my weak spots

You shoot at me 

Leaving me bleeding

Silently crying at night

Only to not disturb you

My emotions are 

A burden for you

To think I thought

You could love me

Or even accept me

But you just use me

Closed off from the world

Because i am afraid to get hurt

Breathing even hurts

Because I'm still alive

You should open your arms

Let me come to you when hurt

I still do

Except you're the one who hurts me

Unable to go out into the world

And live my life.

My life

On hold because of you

I can not truly live

Have your claws in my skin

Bleeding and hurting

Trying to escape

Constantly in fear

Constantly hurting

Constant, constant 

I am not the same girl

From when you met me

Because you changed me

In the worst way possible

I can not escape

Head underwater

I embrace this darkness

Only to be free

This is really sad, the pain and the heartbreak of the poet is brilliantly expressed in the poem... The poem has been constructed so well, with a painful thought in it, I can feel it... It hurts when the one we love treats like a nothing... Power packed emotional work...
