Cruel fate

I just got bored so I thought I would write this (pardon mistakes, computer is messing up)

In this state of being

We all face struggles

Not all the same

And I like it that way

 

The struggling teen

An outcast to all her friends

Disowned by her parents

A few weeks from graduation

Baby on the way

 

The middle aged man

Wife and kids

struggling to make ends meat

Just found out

He has cancer

 

The sad quiet teen

She has no friends

May dress differently

Always laughed at

Battling depression

 

The incompetent

high school grad

The dumb jock in class

Only dates popular girls

Ended up having AIDS

 

The mother was 17 at the time of her rape

The father was only 50 when he passed

The teen, killed herself at 16

The jock was 25 when the disease killed him

 

These people didn't choose their fate

It chose them

Stop judging them

I love this a lot. It is totally true in all ways, we all face our own struggles. Not only those who are expected to go through them because of the way they are raised, but those that you wouldn't expect at all :)
