that slide around my heart, and sneak into my tears.

until I'm strong enough to stand.

until I think I don't need you anymore.

because I'll always need you.

great job. I liked it. The only thing I'd suggest is changing your numbers to spelled out words "5 fingers" to "five fingers" etc. good job.

A beautiful piece.

Some of the decisions we make are what we hold on to most dearly. To grip on someone else's hand is like making a connection that's unbound to break. I love this poem for that sentiment and more.
