The Science

The Science

A Poem by Marquise

I threw caution to the wind
seeking security
hoping for some type
of assistance beneath my
tired wings...

But the velocity in
the wind did not equate
to the density in her voice

She and I only agree to disagree

and disagreements are tolerable

because they happen in relationships

naturally...

But sometimes as natural
loving human beings
we become codependent
on the coefficients of
relationships instead of
just being.

Human

My theory is that

love is ignorant to science.
Love only knows how to
love.

Love is the only thing that can replace
everything you are missing.
And if you consider God to be Love then
there's no need for the next line to
be mentioned.

Science is ignorant to love...
But for science to be based on
facts, there sure is
alot of friction when so many
of those so-called facts
years later become fiction.

So lets not communicate
with so much scientific
nonsense that we become
victims to our own false
theory's of evolution
instead of evolving in
what we seeded into..

Now doesn't that seem

much more natural...

I threw caution to the wind
Now I just throw
without knowing, yet having
faith that her density
will assist in the elevation
of what HE intended to
be created...

That is a fantastic line. You set it up damn well, too. This is a great write. So much support for your central thought, like the velocity and wings and the twist on fact vs. feeling. And love really is throwing caution to the wind, isn't it?

Thanks for sending this request to me. Awesome write.

I am in your corner my friend. Faith is a neccesity of the human condition. The wording is nothing short of great and the repetition of the line "I threw cation to the wind..." really accentuates the whole feeling of the piece. I dug it. thanks for sending it, sorry it took so long to respond.

I don't consider myself a writer because I don't write often, but I have trouble putting words together when I want to express myself verbally. Writing is the one way I can do this successfully. I lov.. more..
