Going Thru

Going Thru

A Poem by Marquise

Bothers me... thinking of you so much
Wanting you...
Unsure if I need you...
But wanting to need you.
Needing you to want me, too...

My previous pains, I never blamed you for...
In life we've all fallen sometimes,
But the way I fell was the pain endured...
The crash and impact hurt,
But reliving the fall mentally hurts more...

So frustrating to see our futures argue and debate
on who's right and wrong,
while both our past seem to reasonably get along.
We're both carved from the same puzzle.
Like it or not, I am apart of you...
And I may not read the Bible too often, but
I've learned if Adam gave a Rib to birth his wife Eve,
then maybe I can give up something, too.

Only our debating futures will tell
if what I'm willing to give up,
I may have given away
When I should have been giving it to you...

The sentiment in the lines is just oust in this verse... the heartfelt reality is pours for the pores in the stanzas... and the ending give a lasting touch to this write:

I may have given away
When I should have been giving it to you...

About
I don't consider myself a writer because I don't write often, but I have trouble putting words together when I want to express myself verbally. Writing is the one way I can do this successfully. I lov.. more..
