We Do It To Ourselves

We Do It To Ourselves

A Poem by honeycomb
"

yeah.

"

I think our problem is that we rely on one another,

If we can't help ourselves how are we going to help eachother?

We feel like we'd be lost if we ever had to seperate

But if we stay together I think we'll all disinegrate.

This cycle that we're in can never have a happy ending

We say we live for fun but we know that we are just pretending.

The fun stopped a long time ago, we just do it to get by

We know we can't make it through our days if we're not getting high.

I guess it's that we're all depressed, although for different reasons.

Or maybe we're all just waiting to find something that we can believe in.

Whatever it is I hope that we can get it through our heads.

Because even if we're breating, well, we might as well be dead.

We're just shells of who we used to be, we've lost all that we were

Long ago they told us to slow down, we just laughed at all their words.

We thought they were the ones who were missing out, but little did we know

We were the ones who would end up lonely, with no where left to go.
