A Poem by honeycomb
"

my friends sister died

"

It may be true that you left us to soon
But your impact will last forever.
Didn’t know you that well, but from the first time I could tell
You’re one of those people I’d always remember.
You didn’t sugar coat things, always said what you mean
Unlike so many people today.
You had so much talent and artistic ability
That it blew everybody away.
It always amazed me, when I saw what you drew
Like on those greeting cards you used to make.
You’re one of the coolest people I ever knew
What a beautiful life to take.
Even though your stay on earth was short
Forever, you will still live on
You had an amazing spirit, and it is still here
Even if your body is gone.
