Norvell Group and Associates Manufacturers Review on Solar Power Generator

Norvell Group and Associates Manufacturers Review on Solar Power Generator

A Story by Mark Tindell

In 2002, we have installed a 60kw solar power generator at the rooftop of new head office building, which generated about 60,000kwh (CO2 emission reduction of about 25t-CO2) annually.

Based on this success, we have installed a 50kw solar power generator at the rooftop of our Tataeyama plant in 2004. It started operation in November.

For about a half year period until May, 2005, it has generated about 20,000kwh (CO2 emission being about 8t-reduction in CO2). Data concerning our solar power generators are reported to New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO) to contribute to research on solar power generation.
