Ice-blue Eyes

Ice-blue Eyes

A Poem by Markoo

You don't see me
                         because
You see what you want to see
So why am I
waving my arms to be seen?
You don't see me
                         because
You've got somewhere else to be
So why am I
calling your name with a scream?
I don't see why
 you always complain to me
 sticking by your side
 you've granted me invisibility
You don't see me
                         because
I'm not what you mean to me
So I'm leaving now
when I still have time to be seen
Because it's dawning on me now
Your ice-blue eyes are mean.
