Care in the community

Care in the community

A Poem by Mark Heathcote

As Celebrations day, approaches us

We promote independent living,

We celebrate diversity in harness

Yes, we’re all rejoicing...

We’re rejoicing in our communities

Within our own homes, our diversity,

The gifts we all empathically share.

We promote it, declare it equally,

Good and raise a toast to it,

With soft drinks a mix of pastries.

We further cross-over any boundaries.

As Celebrations day, nears " today

With joined open hearts and minds

Pull back the blinds with good cheer

“That Celebrations day is here " today”
