-Can I see your license and registration? -What did I do, officer? -License and registration (Hands officer license and registration) -I need to see your license and registration. -I just gave them to you. -Would you stay in the car, sir? -I’m not moving, officer. -I’m going to ask you one more time for your license and registration. -Excuse me, officer, may I see those papers in your hand? -Yes (hands him the papers) Ok, here (hands them back). -I see you are John Densmore from Peoria, Illinois. -Yes -Do you know a Sara Densmore? She’s a cousin, or maybe a sister. I can’t remember, but she lives in Illinois, or is it Iowa? -No…sorry, Illinois is a big state with a lot of people. -Mr. Densmore -Yes. -Get out of the car. (gets out of the car) -(cop looks at the license and registration) Sir, have you seen anyone by the name of John Densmore? He seems to have lost these items. -Officer, can I just go? -I told you to stay in the car! -(gets back in the car) Maybe you should call for back-up. -Don’t tell me how to do my job! (getting on his radio) Dispatch…yes, I need back-up. I have a situation here at Pine and Sheridan. -Officer, our GPS shows you’re at 9th and Lewis. -That’s right. -Back-up will be there in 3 minutes. -Good, I’ve got a suspicious fellow who is looking for someone named John Densmore and he’s not very cooperative. -Help is on the way! -(second officer arrives) Hey Higgins, what have we got here?
