Overdrive

Overdrive

A Poem by Mark
"

Just driving in from work, and a nifty little ditty suggested itself...

"
May a big bag of God's richest Blessing
Pursue you each day, this Year

May you avoid situations distressing;
When waking, greet each day with a cheer!

May there be much more hugs and caressing;
(Are you listening, as I bend your ear?)

This my wish, I'm  hopefully confessing:
That we all get our lives in High Gear!

This reminded me of the Irish prayer,...May the road rise up to meet you. It was gorgeous. Thankyou.

May this year touch you in gentle ways
and leave a smile in its wake.

Agree with this poem and the statement of the last line "That we all get our lives in High Gear!" The poem felt heart felt and true as we should all be in high gear in to changing our lives for the better. Thanks for sharing.

Smiling at your generous poem, wishing friends and more such wonderful blessings, thank you, Mark .. could I add a little calm contemplation somewhere along the way .. that High Gear can get a bit much sometimes. (You)
