PATRIOTIC BLUESA Poem by MarkReally, nothing whatever to do with Patriotism...But it got your attention, didn't it??
Red sky at Mornin’ is a warnin’ I’ve heard White clouds in the distance may soon bring the rain Blue sense of foreboding, from a single small word, Her Patriot Ms.’l’s aimed at me again
Red screaming, arms waving, the signs are all there White lips pressed together, when all has been said She done blew my mind, and I can’t seem to care Cos her Patriot Ms.’l’s sighted in on my head.
I guess I missed the red warnin’ signs" Why?’t doesn’t matter a heckuva lot It’s an ill wind that blew up a storm one more time And now buckets of raindrops are all that we’ve got!
Well, I guess you’ve all read how many quarrels end, As lovers try and make up, most de-mon-stra-bly The fire from our lips has now sunk to our hips, And MY Patriot missile’s parked right where it should be! mark teague september 29, 2011 © 2011 MarkReviews
