For You!

this is about how I wouldn't want to try these days if it weren't for this one person who has shown me that I can make people proud this is for the same woman I wrote the poem Unconditional for.

Even in the darkest of time

I know you'll be by my side

 

I don't think about why

Why will sometimes make me cry

 

I try not to lie

So I really do have to try

 

But that is alright

Cause for you

I don't mind

 

I changed my life for you

Even though you don't know it

 

Your the only reason I try

Now here's the truth for you

Sometimes I do still cry

 

But life is getting easier

All because your by my side

is there supposed to be something between why and will? or is it just not computing?
It's a nice poem, but not one of my favorites or yours, a little too simple....maybe it's because there isn't much imagery....

I can tell there is a lot of emotion here but I'm not quite clear who it's for? I'm not a professional at all just my own thoughts.

I understand and by all means I'm happy you were honest with me. I have these people who are like my 2nd family well not like are and it's for the woman whom I call mommy because her little kids are 2 and 6 and they are just as if they are my little sibling but they gave me funny looks when I called her by name so I just started calling her that and so I'm a part of their family and that should explain if not let me know and I'll explain better/ more...thanks!
