Desire

Desire

A Poem by A.A.Solis
"

A poem about my relationship with God.

"
My humble prayer to you
Casted on a long winter’s night
Alone

In silence
My tears fall
Sorrow

My world
Filled with darkness and light
You

Guide me
I want to take refuge with You
Sanctuary

Frightening dreams
Suffocating and controlling; take them away
Protection

Find me, take me
And hide me within Your domain
Acceptance

Author's Note

A.A.Solis
This originally was going to be just a depressing poem for a friend but turned into a confession about my relationship with God.
I have close personal attachments to my religion. Very, very personal to me so no flame please.
