The Queen of ShebaA Poem by Marina J.It's a very special poem
You lost faith in me,
And now I'm nothing, Like the old gods I'm vanishing slowly Being completely forgotten. My king, my knight on horse, The weight of your armor left behind my corpse. There's nothing more arrogant than punishing a goddess, Who transformed your life, gave you music and colors. All I need is a spark To make flowers bloom, I'm a miracle worker, There's a shelter in my womb. A grain of hope reappeared when I heard your voice, But you have already made your choice. I'm wandering around our streets With your scent in my nose, This black hole inside me Silenced all the noise. When the winds blow away my ashes, And my broken eyes close these wet eyelashes, A drop of rain will fall onto your face, And I'll be one with you, caressing your hair in our favorite place. A thousand of blessings will protect you from harm, Every cell of mine like a lucky charm. I'll hug you forever and live in your smile, I'll live in the trees, in the air, in the skies. So breathe me in and call my name, Remember the incredible flame, All the gods are prone to resurrection, If there is a believing heart Seeking the divine connection. © 2023 Marina J.Featured Review
