SurrenderA Poem by Marimorgan
I opened myself up to you.
I peeled away my defenses, Glued to me so very close- Like a second skin. I put them away, Sealed into a secret box Far, far from here. I have brought forth my darkest desires, Spoon fed them to you Colored crimson and tasting Of wine and strawberries. I have rid myself of all obstacles- Everything that would Keep me from your arms, From the embrace I crave. More than air I Need to breathe in your scent More than light I Need your eyes to illuminate me and my childish fears. I give myself to you. Body, Mind, Soul- I surrender © 2012 Marimorgan |
