simple unrhyming spilling of feeling trying to say something but not in a grand manner tonight hope all of the wonderful people on here thrive in 2018

what does one say

on a day like today

why  JUST a  sigh when your heart  has taken a  horrible blight

on  today's New Year's night

life continues

the world rotates

and in reality  

no one is inside us

or cares enough 

to love"  forever and a day"  

with  a huge fuss... 

so get by  and  say good  bye

to heartache, the pain

of the year

and with that ...have some lemonade

and toast to  all mistakes, and to all sad things

and hope the NEW YEAR  will be more joyful

less painful , and will spark a light

that, maybe ,will make the heart sing....and impossible of possiblities

take flight....

if the world will let it

go out there and get it.

and as for him, forget it

and for her, ignore it

and then, as for life
