Don't Judge Another's AngerA Poem by marilyn 1225it is too easy to dismiss a person who is not smiling , grinning, or being '' sunny'' one has to experience first hand another's troubles to understand his current mood
what makes an old person bitter
what makes a young man angry what makes a parent scream, yell and complain what makes a waif walk the streets cursing it all? the anger builds , we were not born with it it arrives somewhere after not getting one's bottle to the hand of a parent to the coveted prize in youth to the blocked lover the frustration of a failed artist musician scientist or anyone who can not achieve or Be.. what they know they are or have to give or share the anger builds from lack of money or being shunned or used by a 'phoney baloney..'. then dumpped to being isolated not included not even a hello at a gathering from the ''cheerleader of the day'' anger comes from learning that the love of your life is now with the younger newer version a forlorn anger of the sick in a hospital, enduring the pain after the operation the medication the cold room there the emptiness of the hospital hallways at night silent, filled with surrounding death no visitors ever and more horrors to come,,,, and the list continues as the anger grows warmer. then scorching... perhaps or maybe..... writing one poem --unafraid... could take it momentarily away and transfer the sad frustrations of life to a white page with black typed Words,,,,, marilyn nepp sturner dec 28m 2017
