indulgence

being lazy so a fast short poem will do good now

hi ho hi ho  off to work I will not go

I sleep at will

and take a pill

and love life that

God  bestows

no drama-  no affairs 

no hurts of heart, nor the tears

it is a pleasant numbness

a present  escape

with the sun shinning down  who would want less

the patients in hospitals, hooked up and solemm faced

wires in and out, and needles galore

would strive for today's gift  and never want more

my children all grown-- my world shrinking small

no time nor interest for self doubt ambling thru the hospital hall

I am grateful for today.. each second  a gift

love you  friends and even dear foes   And

thank you again for keeping me on my toes

may you have a sweet day without plaguing woes
