Jagged glass

Jagged glass

A Poem by Swirling Wildly

Jagged glass
protrudes out of my hand
I want to show my palms
and warn the
crazy people
to stay away
But instead
I hold them down at myside
and tightly clinch
my fists
I wont invite them
allow them
to share my emotion
I'll just try to hide
the blood
dripping on the ground beside nme
And silently feel my own pain
Its my pain
and they can't have
even one little piece of me.
Not even the bloody part.

Author's Note

Swirling Wildly
I have dark days. The ones you never want anyone to see. People might think you are a freak. But I know someone else has thought it too.
