Staircases

Every level up is like a staircase,

Everything worth having is earnt,

And to be happy,

You must go through a sad phase,

Cause to try,

Is something that's learnt,

But will you take on each step with courage?

Or will you opt out in shame,

Not giving yourself time to flourish,

Just because life feels like a never ending game
