Sometimes I wonder

Sometimes I wonder

A Poem by Amorous Palm

Sometimes I wonder,
Is she really gone,
Or is she out there mowing someone else's lawn,
Sometimes I wonder,
Is heaven even real,
Sometimes I wonder,
Is life just a drill,
Sometimes I wonder,
Have I been here before?,
Sometimes I wonder,
Why do I long for more?,
Sometimes I wonder,
Is it really worth it all?,
And sometimes I wonder,
Why nobody bothers to ever call.

What a sad poem, dear Marie, seems you have written your misery with such a sharp pen, finishing in a too raw feeling of wondering why. Yes, so often thoughts like that are bewilderingly painful but..

I wonder if it would help you to take the reins and make a phone-call yourself? You will not know the result until you try.. and try. Perhaps.

Beautiful poem. You're right, there is a lot of things in this life that keep us wondering. Things that make no sense at all. Just a puzzle after puzzle. Well written.
