To BeginA Poem by Marie Rose EliasWritten for my forever love...K.C.Can you build for me now
A thing very strong Use lightly your hands But do add some song Something lit ever bright By dazzling smiles With a precious firm base To last many miles And when I feel cold It warms and it soothes When I become lost It compels me to move Something mine but to share For its worth knows not limit But will not be complete Without two hearts surely in it For when you are afraid Or feel sometimes alone Shape my hands so warm Held inside your own
Sharp words cannot pierce For it’s strength is immeasurable Place trust in the walls To be ever cherished Add please now the freedom All souls surely need To stand on their own So two can succeed Do not forget laughter And do include chance I can forego not either And must have some dance I pray you make this all fit Without too much strife Dear when you are finished Please call it our life…June 15, 2012 Marie Rose © 2013 Marie Rose Elias |
