Freedom is Here

Freedom is Here

A Poem by Marienel aka ''TWEETY'' Rondina

I’m free..

Don’t grieve for me,

For now I’m free,

I’m following the path

God laid for me.

I took His hand when I

heared Him call,

I turned my back and

left it all.

I could not stay

Another day,

To love, to laugh,

To work, to play.

Task left undone

Must stay that way,

I found that peace

At the close of day.

If my parting has left

a void,

Then fill it with

remembered joy.

A friendship shared

A love, a kiss,

A, yes, this things

I will truly miss.

Be not burdened

In times of sorrow,

I wish you the

sunshine of tomorrow.

My life’s been full

I savored much,

Good friends, good

times, a loved

one’s touch.

Perhaps my time

Seemed all too brief,

Don’t lengthen it now

With undue grief.

Lift up your hearts

And shared with me,

God wanted me now;

He sets me free.

I love this, the way sorrow ought be
but humans tend to be filled of the emptiness left behind
the voice is tremendously invoking from beyond
It's quite a beautifully piece with the understanding

Perhaps my time

Seemed all too brief,

Don't lengthen it now

With undue grief

Great piece!!
