YellowA Poem by The Musings of Mary H.Spring Collection
Deep shades of God’s palate
Blessing our earthen canvas.
A tender breeze tugs the sun
From warm, winter covers,
Radiating light towards tulips
Lapping morning dew from a
Many times used barn at the
Old Jones dairy farm household.
A banana school bus picks up
Children from their “kick the can”
Attitudes. Their mom drinks a
Glass of spanking new lemonade
From a secluded citrus plantation
In a warmer state far from here.
