Night Swim

Night Swim

A Poem by The Musings of Mary H.
"

Temporary, accepting, drowning

"
Blue silk warm gently caressing.
Roaring of a vessel passing by.
Freed hair holding my face.
Moistened by the moonlit tide
Intimate waves reaching the shore
Only to bore back into tradition.
Temporary, accepting, drowning
Into a world only tainted by the stars.

Interesting poem, Only to bore back into tradition. I got a idea of how a moment opens up your eyes wide. This line stood out for me a lot, maybe for that reason, nice poem.

I see what you mean by the same passion for words. I love the way this flows. 'Moistened by the moonlit tide', after reading this line i felt the corners of my mouth rise in reflex to the beauty of it.x
