Forever

Forever

A Poem by The Musings of Mary H.
"

My hope is in your love for me My faith is in the sun rising and so is that moment when We grasp and not let go

"

Dew bathing my feet
Lathered Shadows put me into hiding
My love shaken to the core
Never broken and lost into the debths
Love is forever eternity's bliss
Stick and Stones brake
But I stand tall in the midst
Moonlight penetrates my refuge
My heart reaches out for you
the distance too great
I fall to the ground
Yet I wait for you
My hope is in your love for me
My faith is in the sun rising
and so is that moment when
We grasp and not let go

I do love the ending you have on this poem, but what really caught my eye was, " My heart reaches out for you the distance too great I fall to the grout yet I wait for you. I fell in love with those four lines. Another master piece Mary

This was a wonderful poem. It made me think of my own experience with an unrequited love....

"My heart reaches out for you / the distance too great / I fall to the ground / Yet I wait for you"

This could probably be placed into a few different scenarios or a different scenario than I thought of, but personally I thought of my unrequited love and how I hoped and waited for him to reach back, yet never did.

I must say, with this, it made me place the poetry into my own life, which is a mark of an excellent writer in my book.

Keep writing!
