PatheticA Poem by The Musings of Mary H.You will then decide your path, a conduit you mocked before.I presume this is where I travel on a path slighted by arthritis branches poison ivy avaricious for skin with this known to me moving my feet is not an option I cannot glance back for fear of becoming salted, a sculpture
I will always think of you as rain trickles through leaves falling on to my nose in torment when birds arouse the morning sun my heart will ache for something my mind has put into hiding
I know you will think of me hunger, taste, satisfaction anger, raged words, forgiveness grasping hold of, letting go tears of sorrow, ecstasy
You will then decide your path a conduit you mocked before so delicious in vanity a trail trodden down by your own two feet It is then, you will realize you have caught up with me © 2008 The Musings of Mary H.Author's Note
