Do I Know?

Do I Know?

A Poem by The Musings of Mary H.
"

Nature's little secrets...

"

I can never tell

what makes a man;

a man

a woman; scorned

a secret whispered

through my lips

my eyes

as they search for

answers

I am never to tell

unless I am asked

even then I

 could never say what

really is going on

 in nature

bashfulness of moon

when asked to dance

voyeurism of stars

how the sun blushes

when she rises

and has no reprieve

until she lies beneath

the earth

Do any of us really know? It gives us a reason to rise every morning and seek the answers. Circular snatches of song. Ode to Nature.
