Artificial feelings

Artificial feelings

A Poem by maricoona91

Polyvinyl acetate,

Buy my chips, hide a chip,

In my skin, there are bones,

Take out a loan for shiny stones,

Shiny bones are long and thin,

Put a chip under my skin

My desk is plastic, plastic wood,

Wooden plastic is so good,

It's so cheap to make and sell,

Conveyor belt it, ring a bell,

The screen is made from shiny glass,

Television, slap that a*s,

Dye my hair just like a model,

In my hand a plastic bottle,

Polyester pantalones,

Fifty dollar sexy thong lace,

Stick the chord into a wall,

Plastic fir tree fixes all,

Polyurethane silicone,

Snip, tuck, cut-

  But

     Wait!

       Im made out of...what?

Have pinnochio in my head now shouting im a real boy. I like how this can either be read as the future of artificial intelligence or the artificial and superficial things we do to ourselves. Now I have the wizard of oz song playing, if I only had a heart :)

I understand that feeling. I think I must ask myself on a daily basis if I am in the matrix. I have .. read more
there is so much technology in this world, artificial intelligence, so much done on computers, cell phones etc...it seems we are robots now...so little heart, so little face to face, skin to skin contact...

we start to wonder if we are really real at all.
