MurderA Poem by Mari R-J
I came home to horror.
The smell of death overwhelming. The bodies laying there lifeless. Blinding light coming through the windows. I walked in scared. Did I kill all of them? Or did I leave them to die alone? Such a waste of beauty. How have I not learned to respect life? I should have loved them more. I should have followed the instructions. Indirect light, water once a week, 78 degrees. © 2016 Mari R-JReviews
