Here I Sit

Here I Sit

A Poem by Mariah Dinneen

And here I sit
late at night.
In the middle of my bed,
all alone in the silence of the midnight blues.
Here i sit,
thinking about what could be
and what could of been.
Here I sit,
all alone in my room.
Hoping for something new,
hoping.
Whats the point,
hoping never seems to give me hope.
Hopeless,
everyday and every night.
Here I sit,
numb as ever.
Here I sit,
all alone.
Here I sit,
hoping for more.
