What I Wont Say

What I Wont Say

A Poem by Mariah Slade
"

( unspoken sentiments )

"
Your Beautiful

the way you stare
straight  into my -- forever
the way you never miss a blink
never missing a second
of me being -
and breathing
- and being woman
your beautiful , you know
the way you adorn my affirmations
like adjectives do nouns and pronouns in complex sentences
the way you smile in darkness
the way you laugh in uncertainty
the way you light lucent
guiding my hop- scotched  feet
Your unwavering  and expounding
your giant hands holding firm to my history and  my now  and
my bandaged imperfections
the way you predicate my subjects
and plural my singulars

Your Beautiful

thanks rachel
Again, I love it. Clever use of sentence structure as the metaphor.
