Mom

Mom

A Poem by Maria Kay Clary
"

For anyone who has lost their mother.

"
I miss you
I wish I could hug and kiss you
You not being here there is a hole
Graduation will be stolen from me
I feel alone
I want to just be flown away with the wind
I can't see your grin
I miss your hugs
It feels like you were taken away by thugs
The nights are long
Poems were your songs
You loved them and read them
You are now a lost gem
I hope you get your wings
I get to hear you sing
I know you are here
I miss you so much and I fear
The future is near
I don't know where I'm going but take the lead
You are my angel
You are never dull
I hope you fly high
Up in the sky
I hope my tears don't bother you
I'm just blue for now
I hope I don't make you sorrowful
I want to make you peaceful
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
RIP Mom!

She's looking over you, or perhaps looking out from within you. She would want you to be happy and remember the good times.

Thanks for putting it in words, I enjoyed reading your poem
