MomA Poem by Maria Kay ClaryFor anyone who has lost their mother.
I miss you
I wish I could hug and kiss you You not being here there is a hole Graduation will be stolen from me I feel alone I want to just be flown away with the wind I can't see your grin I miss your hugs It feels like you were taken away by thugs The nights are long Poems were your songs You loved them and read them You are now a lost gem I hope you get your wings I get to hear you sing I know you are here I miss you so much and I fear The future is near I don't know where I'm going but take the lead You are my angel You are never dull I hope you fly high Up in the sky I hope my tears don't bother you I'm just blue for now I hope I don't make you sorrowful I want to make you peaceful . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
