my soul you burn

my soul you burn

A Poem by marie
"

just read it

"
the sun shines down
warming my face
the wind blows
brushing my skin

spring petals fall like the earths crown
giving life such wondrous grace
the flowers grow
ready to bloom yet again

i look down at my flesh
reminds myself, this is not real
this is not life
the pain will always

life amassing like a strangling mesh
seeking the only thing left that can feel
encompassing me with endless strife
because its my soul that you burn
