Slowly, My Prince

The hours today have gone by slowly 

as i wonder why you left 

and if you still know me 

You told me you loved me 

and showed me you cared 

but destiny failed us 

and your not here

I'll walk slowly down the corridor today 

as i think of the times you spent with me

I look up ahead and pray... 

Lord, my prince is waiting for me

keep my heart pure 

and keep it clean 

help me to be a woman of worth 

and give my life meaning  

while I reside on this earth.
