The Motherland

The Motherland

A Poem by Liam Hardy
"

A short poem I wrote in a creative writing workshop with Michael Blackburn.

"
We find the dancers intertwined
Twisted around each other
But three men seated right behind
Discuss their younger brother

He went to go, where young men go
When fire burns the snow
And if he gives his life for them
He too will see the show
