One

One

A Poem by marcus

These ideas, are they mine
Or am I just feeding off
Of this, cosmic consciousness

And then I realize
My vanity
As I strive to find myself
I fail to lose myself
As I should
And become, everyone

I see your point yet, what would become of our own fingerprints in life, if all we were, was a multitude of one...:D

Ah, excellent...as writers I believe we do synch with all and THE all...energy, channeled and purged but also a recognition of our own connection to all at the same time, that's where your own voice whispers...enjoyed this :)

Thanks for reading!
i think when we write we are ourselves but we are also everybody...because we try to write universal themes...and appeal in different ways to different readers...

and often we do question whether the ideas are ours...i do all the time...they seem to come from somewhere else, not me.

B
Vanity the enemy of honesty men
Pride is to be admired sometimes
But vanity kills all forms of growth and murders love
i like this poem
in one there is all

You lose yourself for a moment to touch upon the reality of others in a way
