My Perfect Green Day

My Perfect Green Day

A Poem by Marc Marlon Villaflor
"

A baby born in this world...he grow up, live and enjoy life, gets old and die.

"

When the dark skies faded in dawn, whilst the sun rising

The fowl start singing and wavering

The green and sumptuous grass glistening with mist

A new day comes propitious with zest

Rivers flow endlessly like a mellifluous milk pour

Mountains and hills, landscape captivates the splendor.

Flower's fragrance emanates artlessly in thin air

Bees pollinate flowers in a vastly blare

This grandeur forever stays in our realm

A precious gift lies forever in our dream

As the sun dwindles in the western sky

Its golden rays beautifully beam the butterflies

My perfect green day has gone blessedly,

Oh God thank you, I spent it to the fullest completely

This lovely poem somehow reminded me of homecoming. Such unadulterated and pure beauty of nature has to be home.

Marc, I am too sure about this one, it rhymes and then it doesn't which is ok if it follows a pattern, but it doesn't. The themes is good and there are some very good lines, but the flow seems jagged to me. Just my opinion.

Thanks Mr. Jack for your review, I will consider your suggestion.
a couple spots need editing...but what a beautiful piece on life...and its cycle...

the sun rises and greets us into life...and then as it falls at dusk, waves good-bye to us...

really nice poem
