Questions

Questions

A Poem by Marc Marlon Villaflor

I wonder if you still love me,  if my hair turned into gray

I wonder if I had dried lips.  Would you still kiss me torridly?

Would you dance with me again?  Dancing our favorite song?

Would your feet move and willingly come along?

My question was naive, as it is not timely to ask anymore.

My feelings are unchanged, you are the only I adore

I wished you’re still here

I wished you are here to wipe my tears

I’ve wished I asked this question before you were gone

I’ve wished I knew…the answers before losing someone

The questions of love are many. Would be nice to know the ending before the final moment. I like the questions and the thoughts in the poem. Love is hard to hold and very hard to understand. Thank you for the excellent poetry.

~ oh how sad... broken heart ends up in regret... if only regrets comes first but it will never be... it will always be a reminder that we should have done better... but still looking at the brightside in your poem your hoping for a second chance...

Hear, hear! But if we had all the answers what would be the point in life?
There were some grammatical errors, whether that matters to you or not, but otherwise excellent work!

Sad but we always seem to realize too late...

You are welcome. And sometimes it's not to late to realize and make amends! All the best! :)

:) Thanks again
I take this more as a reminder that I should show to my loved ones how I love them rather than a sad piece of losing someone suddenly without telling them their worth. But since I don't have loved ones for now, I'm on exception..right? :)

Sure, any time :)
this is so sad...so sad...

we need to tell our loved ones how we feel --every day...so if they leave us too early,
they know...we have told them...

expression...

my poem More than a Flicker is about my best friend who died back 1984...

the last time i spoke to her was on the phone...last words said, "i love you, Paula"

i am so glad i had said them to her. one spot "my feelings are unchanged"

and yes, real love transcends this life.
