UNTIMELY DESTINATION

                                     Untimely Destination

 

Soft breeze, mellow music, peace and harmony, heavenly, eternity, is

what I want apart of me.  Fill my soul ,and let my spirit be free, within

me, within me.  Release this heavy burden upon me, so that I may sour

as high as the sky before me.  Free my mind from the imprisonment

which confines me with the inability to escape thy.  Faith is the only

thing that preserves me from destructing me, concluding me, or

demolitioning me.  Faith is something that has been brought up in me,

which has taught me, strengthened me, and that has carried me along this

journey.  Praying it will never abandon me, desert me, nor forsake me,

for I need thy to help complete me, and in this journey.

A lot of courage and determination in this! It's almost a creed -- it's certainly a reiteration of faith, even if it's a faith that needs shoring up once in a while. Which is one reason we have creeds to begin with, to help us remember! I see this as both a prayer and a statement of faith, each powerful on its own, even stronger together.
