Humans are born with wings
The world introduces you to strings
Some still desire to fly
Because their home is in the sky

What a struggle it is between you and you
As the quotidian proclivity almost obliterates your soul
But do not shrivel and remain tenacious
For the persistently repentant are the truly courageous

I shall preserve a stream of tears in the rain of satiation
Moments of silence amid relentless orchestration
And treasure that dualistic sense of strangeness that endears strangers
Immersed in an arrogant inferiority, keeping desperation at bay.
