13. Prom day, no students show up.

I like #7 of all these best. With only 6 words to work with, I think the true challenge here is to create something that the reader must fill in all the unwritten words with whatever experience or imagination that they bring with them to the poem. That one seems to capture it perfectly, I think. The others are very good also, but #7 stands out for me...
