Envy of EvolutionA Poem by DeePurpleLavenderI don't know... revenge?
I saw you yesterday
You were hunched, kneeling on the floor your hair was a faded, processed dyed colour To myself I thought, "Well this is it, The girl that took everything..." Everything was symbolic, I now think. You, the floor, me standing erect And walking straight past you It is as if I am more evolved than you Too bad that your 'prize' that you had your eye on Didn't see it. Too bad he didn't see My true value, my exact price. I am glad that you did not look up And see what you did not want to see, Which was the satisfied look of triumph after misery.
