The screams echo. The harsh words bounce from wall to wall. The Queen stands over her servant ordering him around. He polished the crown for her, just like she asked. He made it shine like an evening star, hoping it would please her. Instead, he was wipped, for he did not clean the barn. The servant does his best to make her happy, but every day it becomes harder and harder. Each time she is angry with him his heart sinks lower and lower. But the Queen will order him to wash the dishes again, forgetting once again, that at one time, he was her king.
