Yet another day in the life of the universe, everything seemed to be at its best, Creator has done a wonderful job, Ha! His creation stood out in the test. The planets looked perfectly happy, And the stars were in their ever giving mood. The cosmos has some dos and don’ts, And no one knows its mysterious code. On a tiny beautiful planet called Earth, Happened a new phase of evolution, With the spine getting even more straight, The brain kicked off a new revolution. How do I know what is that? How do I know where am I? How do I know the entire cosmos? How do I know which is a lie? And the brain started its own quest, Tried and solved many of the riddles, Yet, in the end when the time arrived, Found something missing in the puzzles. The brain tried to fill up the void, With this and that he got, with a mass. But what he missed out trying with, Was something he himself was. In the end, when he found out this, He wanted nothing more to know. The so called cosmos was in him, And he was in everything, he saw. Another day in the life of the universe, Everything seemed to be at its best, Creator has done a wonderful job, Ha! His creation stood out in the test.
Manju,
It's an ancient technique of poets to be one with nature and find all he/she has in its various shapes....drop of waTER....FLOWER......ROCK....LIGHTNING.....etc etc. I had noticed such trespassing with moonlight in almost in all languages. Man/woman is gifted to recreate what is felt which other species do not have. That is why it is often said that God is envious of his/her creation called humans. Or I believe even that God is only another creation of MAN.Recently Tegmark opined in his Multiverse theory that it's obvious not to negate existence of parallels of OURs.But we can hope for supremacy. It sounds childish. The CREATOR whomsoever it may be an onlooker to this even t. Okay. Amir D Aczel in his book " Why science does not disprove God" says that there are a lot to be explored in to by us. But I find it as a confusion inherent to so called scientists. Take case of Klaidasa: in MEGHASANDESHAM: how it was possible to visualise unknown in simple available words.
The question is simple" can u venture to open your cells further without apprehension of outcome. It survives. Poet is nothing but a translator (or oracle you call it?) of this feeling. Be proud and not to be in a mood to be the owner. Ego is not a bad quality when poet and poetry (any creativity) is concerned.
The mysterious code is with him.You can know it. Look deeper in to yourself.
I am not answering the poetry. You have skilfully done it.
He is in it and everything is in him.
Am speculative because I need more ...more......Goethe said : more ...more light pl.
I love this poem. Re-readability is something I prize in writing and you have it here. Nicely written! I love the meter and the rhyme and I love the message! Very nice!
